Differences in Markets

Often we’ll be talking with a client and they’ll have a different understanding of how the transaction should go or look while we are working together.  In some cases, they may feel like there should be an attorney present.  Perhaps, they are worried about certain appliances or in other cases, perhaps a survey.   This video should answer some of those questions.

The biggest difference is the absence of attorneys.  In Georgia, we close with an attorney but he’s the only one at the closing.  He actually represents the buyer’s lender.  Meanwhile the buyer and seller are unrepresented except by their agents.  Even though this is the common practice a buyer and seller for that matter, have a right to have an attorney present.  The attorney’s presence doesn’t often change the outcome of the closing

I love technology and working with it and using it to help my real estate clients get the best deal on homes for sale. After graduating from Georgia Tech, I jumped into real estate after the dot com bust. I found that working with people and using technology to help them was fun! I formed a team which includes my wife and the Jarvis Team now serves most of north metro Atlanta.
