5753 Legends Club Circle – Chateau Elan

This Chateau Elan Home is in the Legends section of Chateau Elan and an amazing short sale previously sold in 2009 for $1.1 Mil.   It features 5 bedrooms and 5 Full Baths and 2 Half Baths.

As you enter the home and open the leaded doors you’ll be greated with a classy yet stuff “study” or formal living room with hardwood panelling.  On the opposite side you’ll see what could be a greeting area leading to a rather small dining room.  You won’t be seating 12 here for sure, but the dining room does make up for it by having a leaded gate revealing a wine cabinet.

Through the butler’s pantry you see the kitchen.  The kitchen is certainly gourmet, but it’s not going to blow anyone away that is looking in this price range.  That’s probably why the price has come down to the 7′s.  The family room is 2 stories and features a unique placement of fireplaces, but overall this is pretty standard fair.  The kitchen also has a breakfast area.

This home plan is a master on the main plan and has one the largest light fixtures I’ve ever seen in the master suite.  The master bathroom is what would be expected at this price point, however, worth noting is the custom closet work and the stain glass window in are of high quality.

Aside from the curved stair case leading up to the upstairs area, there’s nothing that this home has that others at this price don’t have.  The large library area leading to a balcony has a wow factor but might not be too practical.

The basement reveals a whole ‘nother world with non-legal bedrooms, kitchen with bar and sitting area, media room and additional storage.   The lot is relatively private and sits on the golf course as well.

In the $700K range it’s a great value and has comparable upgrades and features as homes in this price range, but has the “bling” factor of being in the Legends.   If this home was in another neighborhood it’d retail for the hihg $500′s to mid $600K.
